Tin's finally back! WOOT!
And now another short hiatus. I'm off to Emerald City ComicCon and SakuraCon back to back weekends in Seattle. So no Snafu, Tin, next week. I've also been thinking of switching the dates I update around from Monday/Thursday to like Wednesday and Friday. I dunno we'll see.
K so I've been criminally sleep FUCKED for three days now. Two days ago I didn't wake up till 8pm. that's not 8 AM oh no, it's PM. Granted I didn't go to bed till like 10 AM But point being I slept all day long. Right now I could EASILY stay up and finish Tin... But I'd sleep all day again and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I needs my teeth dentisted. So I'm going to force myself to sleep.
And the most messed up thing about the sleep weirdness is it's not that I'm not tired. I can feel my eyes with the baggy sleepy feeling. I'm just subconsciously stressed like you can not believe right now. It's mostly that I'm trying to move to California and I'm trying to find a place to stay, figure out how to get my stuff out there. Move Shark Robot and everything out there and get generally setup in general. It's TRICKY. and all this is to be done by this weekend. Geez where is a good noose when you need one? Never a boy scout handy when he could be of some use I suppose.
Well this comic is one alteration after another the final product I really like. Usually when I nix something from the script it stays gone and then forgotten. But this time I decided to rant a bit about the process on this comic. For instance the opening line "at least I hit something" was going to be the last line of the last comic. When that got changed (mostly due to I changed the frames around from my storyboard and it didn't work as well). But this comic I was going to start off with Sue and Tin in a grapple again. But it needed some kind of opener as almost a reminder of why Sue is so mad so I resurrected the intended line for last comic. Then when Sue picks Tin up ground and all I was going to have Tin say a witty (ish) one liner but after reading the line a few times I didn't like it at all with the perspective scene I decided to go with. Originally the frame was going to be flat and chibi like the ending of this comic. Finally the last frame I was going to have Tin say "I need a new job" as a homage to the opening of the comic... but once again it's better for Tin to be silent in my opinion.
